Last Friday afternoon Rescue Writing took part in a fun community event to share the great work we are doing with teachers and young writers. Florida Funders partnered with the rideshare service Uber to give start-up companies an opportunity to give a 15 minute pitch of their business to an investor, here’s the catch, in the back seat of a moving Uber vehicle.
This challenge was great fun for Rescue Writing! We are happy to be located in the St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay area, which is gaining national recognition as an innovative hub for start-up entrepreneurs. We are thrilled to be in the center of such a creative and exciting place. As a community of writers we strive to be uniquely innovative as we publish children’s stories.
Not only was this fun, but we were even featured in an article on the front page of the Tampa Bay Times for our involvement!
